This is an amazingly deep exploration of systematic problems in academic peer review that suppress innovative scientific viewpoints. Due to some very unfortunate developments in science since WW2 the integrity of science is seriously at risk. I cant recommend this for a general readership but it is engrossing for any scientist who has been through the publication mill and others who take a serious interest in the institutions of science and the way they work.
