这7个论文初审被拒的理由，你都遇到过吗？

对于研究生而言论文投稿是一门必修课，因为它不仅是科研成果展示的一种重要手段，而且是提高个人写作能力的一种重要途径。然而，论文投稿的过程比较漫长，短则个把月，长则四五月，甚至一年以上都很正常。

此外，论文投稿基本上会经过with editor，under review，revise，accept，proof等阶段。论文可能在初审阶段（论文提交没有几天会变成with editor状态），也可能会送审（under review 状态）以后被拒稿。

大多数稿件都是在送审以后被拒稿，但从2024年开始，发现很多稿件都在初审阶段被拒稿了，拒稿的理由大致有以下7种（这里主要是Elsevier ScienceDirect 旗下的期刊）。

1. While your results are of potential interest, the topic of your manuscript falls outside of the scope of this journal. For an overview of the Aims & Scope, please have a look at the journals’ homepage. We hope you will consider the journal for publication of future studies within the scope.

虽然您的研究结果具有潜在的兴趣价值，但您的稿件主题超出了本期刊的范围。有关期刊目标与范围的概述，请访问期刊主页查看。我们希望您在未来的研究符合期刊范围时，能考虑将其提交至本期刊发表。

2. Although your manuscript falls within the aim and scope of this journal, it is being declined due to lack of sufficient novelty. We receive a much larger number of papers than we are able to accept.

尽管您的稿件符合本期刊的目标与范围，但由于缺乏足够的新颖性，我们不得不婉拒您的投稿。我们收到的稿件数量远远超过了可接受的范围。

3. In its current state, the level of English throughout your manuscript does not meet the journal’s required standard. You may wish to ask a native speaker to check your manuscript for grammar, style and syntax, or use the professional language editing options available from XXX.

在当前状态下，您的稿件中的英语水平未达到本期刊要求的标准。您可能需要请一位母语人士检查稿件的语法、文体和句法，或者使用 XXX 提供的专业语言编辑服务。

4. We regret to tell you we were not able to find the required number of reviewers to evaluate your manuscript; we don’t want to delay the process for you any longer.

5. Your manuscript shows an unacceptable level of overlap with prior publications. There are numerous complete sentences and paragraphs that are virtually unchanged. In the present form, the originality of the study cannot be assessed.

您的稿件与先前发表的文献存在不可接受程度的重合。其中有大量完整的句子和段落几乎未作改动。在目前的形式下，我们无法评估研究的原创性。

6. Although the problems being addressed are potentially of interest to our readership, your manuscript does not meet the required quality standards to be considered for publication.

尽管您所研究的问题可能对我们的读者具有潜在的兴趣，但您的稿件未达到本期刊要求的质量标准，因而无法被考虑发表。

7. The research results reported are too premature for publication. More work is needed to substantiate the conclusions in your manuscript.

您稿件中报告的研究结果尚显得过于初步，尚需进一步的工作来充分验证您的结论，才能达到发表的要求。

总之，上述7种被拒稿的理由，是由出版社提供的通用拒稿理由，对于稿件的改进是没有任何帮助，初审拒稿是编辑行为，并不是同行的意见。初审被拒稿的话，换个期刊改投就是，并不一定代表稿件的质量差，改投更好的期刊，被录用也不是什么稀奇事。
