“期刊影响因子（Journal Impact Factor，JIF）”！一个不合理的数量化指标，一个万恶的专制指标，有形无形地决定了科学家能否高就，职称能否升迁，项目能否获得，奖金和收入高低 --- ---。

用Tracey A. DePellegrin, Mark Johnston发表在《GENETICS》（November 1, 2015 vol. 201 no. 3 811-813; DOI: 10.1534/genetics.115.182261）的话说，就是“But as a measure of a journal’s quality, the JIF is limited. As a measure of a particular paper or author, it is meaningless. When it is used as a shortcut to determine whether or not an author will earn a Ph.D., be awarded a grant, or earn tenure, it's just plain ridiculous.（百度翻译：然而，作为衡量期刊质量的指标，影响因子（JIF）存在局限性。作为评估特定论文或作者的标准，它毫无意义。当其被用作决定作者能否获得博士学位、科研资助或终身教职的快捷方式时，简直荒谬至极。）”
