Earth Surface Processes and Landforms
Stuart Lane is a Professor of Geomorphology at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland whose work focuses upon the environments that get created when glaciers disappear. His work is interdisciplinary, drawing upon his training in geomatic engineering, computational fluid dynamics and physical geography. He has edited the journal Earth Surface Processes and Landforms since 2008 and is also the Vice President of the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Guang-hui Zhang, Professor of State Key Laboratory of Earth Surface Processes and Disaster Risk Reduction, Beijing Normal University, China. He mainly focus on soil erosion mechanisms at steep slope, particularly soil detachment capacity and sediment transport capacity. In the past several years, his study changes to the potential effects of vegetation restoration on gully erosion on the Loess Plateau, hydrological processes observation and hydraulics simulation of gully at event rainfall scale, and the formation and development of gully and the corresponding influencing factors in the black soil region of northeast China. He has published 242 papers both in English and Chinese.
Eduardo Luquin

Eduardo Luquin is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota, Department of Soil, Water and Climate (SWAC). His research focuses on water quality, agriculture, and soil erosion processes while collaborating with the Daily Erosion Project (DEP) and the Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF) to address non-point source pollution challenges. Within these projects, he actively enhances conservation planning tools through model testing and development, promoting sustainable land-use practices.
