Speaker 1: Amy East, EiC of Journal of Geophysical Research: Earth Surface
Dr. Amy East is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Geophysical Research: Earth Surface, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Geophysical Union. Through her editor role she aims to facilitate the peer-review process for authors and reviewers, especially those in their early career stage. As a research geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, her scientific focus is on sedimentary and geomorphic processes with an emphasis on climate-change effects and natural hazards.
Speaker 2: Dongfeng Li, Associate Editor of Journal of Geophysical Research: Earth Surface
Dr. Dongfeng Li is a researcher at Peking University and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Geophysical Research: Earth Surface, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Geophysical Union. He is leading the Cryosphere and River Lab (CAR Lab) at Peking University. He is broadly interested in climate change, glaciers, permafrost, catchment hydrology, sediment transport, and hydropower, with a special focus on the Qingzanggaoyuan and Arctic. He is always looking for highly motivitated postdocs to join the CAR Lab. Through his AE role he aims to facilitate the peer-review process for authors and reviewers, especially those in their early career stage in China.
