I paused, and chose not to go.

I told myself: Let it be so.

I stayed, and would not depart.

I told myself: Keep the heart.

Moon and stars, quiet and bright,

glimmer as wind takes flight.

The world still turns, and yet you say:

Here is the soil, here is the clay.
