When I was young, I remember we were first taught to read time on a clock or watch face. Then we learned to flip or cross off dates on day/weekly/monthly calendar. Now in old age and retired, we often forget what day of the week today is since every day is the same. Because of such needs, a new device came into being. It is basically a 5”by7” small display screen which you plug into any electric outlet. It then displays in several lines of words:
1. Name of the day of the week
2. Approximate time of the day – before dawn, morning, noon, afternoon, evening, and night
3. Time of the day in hour, minutes, AM or PM
4. The actual date in the order of month-day-year
There can be no mistakes if you know how to read! In time, wall clock and paper calendar may disappear. Technology progress waits for no one!
