On at least two other prior occasions, I have partial evidences that the government monitors my e-mail communications with other as well as my blogs. Not that I have anything to hide but here is another example I encountered recently. Starting in April 2025 I find that my social security payment were stopped suddenly. This I suspect is due to the effort of the Elon Musk DOGE team and their effort to stop dead people fradulently receving social security payment. My age (91.5) and non Anglo-Saxon last name makes me a prime candidate. Note this is not about RIGHTS that I am entitled to or not. Social security payments are return on my yearly investment via payment of social security taxes since 1951. It is literally my money that the government owes me. It is like my bank suddenly decided to keep my deposit as theirs or an insurance company refuse to pay out legitimate claims. In order to prove that I am still alive and not dead, I must personally wait in long line at the social security office for an appoitment to do so. This is becasue the large cut in personnel also instituted by the Musk DOGE team. Social Security offices no longer permit phone or on-line dealings. Thus, while I am not desperately dependent on the SS payment to live every month, I complained in my e-mail to friends and plan to appeal to my congressperson (representatives and senators).for resolution. But before I had a chance to do so, I was infromed by my bank two days ago that my missing SS payments for April, May, and June 2025 were mysteriously restored to my account. How did this happen? I suspect that the government knows that while statiscally they were correct, it is a case they cannot win and only damages their reputation if made public by opposing politicians. Correcting the mistake is the best thing they can do. Here is a case I must congratulate the government for serving the public efficiently.
