The current murder case of the United Health CEO Brian Thompson by Luigi Magorine brought forth the advance in modern survelance tehcnology. The minute by minute time line capture by various survelance camera in midtown Manhattan trace the start of the shooter from his hostel, to the shooting, to his escape via a bike, through central park, his abandoned back pack, to his taxi ride to the bus depot where he depart from NYC. and the nationwide broadcast of his face finally led to the recognition of him by someone in a Mcdoanld resaurant in PA and his arrest. Imagine just a few decades ago none of these could be possible. There is literallynow no place to hide. If you don't want the public to know what you have done, then you better not do it. Privacy is a bygone concept. True, only in high profile cases, such record can be assmebled. Most of what survelance records about us ordinary folks are not examined by anyone. But they are there and can be traced if important reasons make it desirable to do so. Or you can only commit crimes in less developed countries where survelance technology have not caught up to US standard. FBI and police department probably have even more advanced survelance technologies available which they do not want the public or potential criminals to know.  Criminals watch out !!!
