Sal Khan, the founder and CEO of Khan Academy, thinks artificial intelligence could spark the greatest positive transformation education has ever seen. He shares the opportunities he sees for students and educators to collaborate with AI tools -- including the potential of a personal AI tutor for every student and an AI teaching assistant for every teacher -- and demos some exciting new features for their educational chatbot, Khanmigo.
Are teachers becoming obsolete or now one teacher can do the job of many and better?
This is a fascinating 16 minutes TED talk that was delivered in rapid speaking and slide sequence that may be difficult to follow but nevertheless worth watching/listening. It argues both as a pessimist and an optimist about the future and suggest that we must be careful in utilizing AI not as a replacement for HI (Human Intelligence) bit as an excellent assistant to HI.
