“中国-巴基斯坦地球科学研究中心”（以下简称：中巴中心）由中国科学院和巴基斯坦高等教育委员会共同主导建设，属于非盈利性独立法人科学研究机构，总部位于巴基斯坦伊斯兰堡真纳大学校园内，占地300亩，首期建筑面积15000m2。
中巴中心主要围绕中巴经济走廊建设面临的从大洋俯冲到陆陆碰撞的深部圈层相互作用、气候变化及环境效应、自然灾害与风险管理、资源环境与绿色发展地球科学等四大科研领域的科技难题，开展全要素、全链条、贯通式研究，建设中巴科教合作国家级平台，旨在建成辐射南亚、中亚、西亚及北非的开放性国际科技卓越中心和具有全球重要影响力的国际科技机构。
“自然灾害与风险管理”科研领域聚焦中巴经济走廊重大地震、山地、气象、海洋灾害防控和荒漠化防治科技难题，以孕灾背景、动力过程、灾害效应和防控技术为研究核心，系统认知地球内外动力耦合作用下重大灾害孕灾致灾机理，引领复杂艰险环境条件下重大灾害研究前沿，研发重大灾害风险模拟预测、监测预警、综合防控与应急减灾关键技术，推动灾害风险管理技术体系建设，服务于中巴科技合作与“中巴经济走廊”建设。该领域现拟招聘科研骨干1-2名，诚邀有志于投身中巴经济走廊灾害研究的青年科研精英加盟。
一、 特别研究助理（博士后）
1. 招聘方向
山地灾害、气象灾害、重大工程减灾
2. 申报条件
（1）已通过正式答辩的应届博士研究生或已获得博士学位3年之内。
（2）具有山地灾害、地质、工程、大气等相关学科背景，熟练掌握相关研究方法和技术，了解前沿动态，参加过山地灾害、气象灾害、重大工程减灾等相关科研项目者优先。
（3）年龄在35周岁以下，身心健康、品学兼优。
（4）具有良好的英语阅读、写作和交流能力；科研兴趣浓厚，有良好的学术道德和严谨的学风，具备独立开展科学研究的能力和团队合作精神。
（5）主要工作地点在巴基斯坦，驻巴期间能独立开展工作。
3. 岗位待遇
（1）申请者一经录用，享受中科院所规定的博士后工资和其它待遇；
（2）若聘用为中科院特别研究助理，聘期内可申请“中国科学院特别研究助理资助项目”、博士后基金等项目；
（3）在站工作期限原则上为2-3年；
（4）视工作成绩待遇将有一定上浮，具体面谈。

Scientific Research Talents Wanted in CPJRC
China-Pakistan Joint Research Center on Earth Sciences (aka CPJRC) is a non-profit scientific research institution and also an independent legal entity jointly led by Chinese Academy of Sciences (aka CAS) and Higher Education Commission Pakistan (aka HEC), headquartered on the campus of Quaid-I Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan, covering an area of 300 acres and a first phase of construction area of 15000m2.
CPJCR mainly focuses on the key science and technology challenges encountered in the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (aka CPEC), and carries out all-element, full-chain, and integrated research, covering such four major research fields as deep sphere interaction from ocean subduction to continental collision, climate change and environmental effects, natural disasters and risk management, and resources environment and green development. As a national platform of China-Pakistan science and education cooperation, CPJRC aims to be built as an open international science and technology center of excellence and an international science and technology institution with global influence especially in South Asia, Central Asia, West Asia and North Africa.
The third research field “Natural disasters and risk management” focuses on such scientific and technological issues along CPEC as severe earthquake disasters, mountain disasters, meteorological disasters, marine disasters, and desertification control. Taking disaster-inducing environment, dynamic process, disaster effect and prevention and control technology as the cores of research, this research field centers on the systematic understanding of disaster-induced mechanism with the influence of the coupling action of the earth’s internal and external dynamics, leading the frontier research of major disasters under complex environmental conditions. In addition, this field is also committed to the development of key technologies for major disaster risk simulation and prediction, monitoring and early warning, comprehensive prevention and control, and emergency disaster reduction, and committed to the construction of disaster risk management technology system, so as to the promote the cooperation of China-Pakistan science and technology and the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

一、 Special Research Assistant (post-doctor)
I. Research Direction:
Mountain disasters, meteorological disasters, and major engineering disaster reduction
II. Application Requirements:
(1). Recent doctoral students who have passed the final formal thesis defense, or postgraduates who has received the doctoral degree within 3 years (2018-2021).
(2). With mountain disasters, geology, engineering, atmosphere and other related disciplines background, you shall be proficient in relevant research methods and techniques, and can grasp the latest research trends.
(Those who have participated in mountain disaster, meteorological disaster, major engineering disaster reduction or other related scientific research projects are preferred.)
(3). You shall be no more than 35 years old, with good physical and mental health, and excellent character and academic performance.
(4). You shall have sufficient proficiency in reading, writing and speaking of English, have strong interest in scientific research, good academic ethics, rigorous learning style, strong independent work ability and upstanding team spirit.
(5). The main work place is in Pakistan, where you can carry out research work independently.
III. About the Salary and Benefits:
(1). Once you are hired, you shall enjoy the postdoctoral salary and other benefits prescribed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences;
(2). If you’re employed as a special research assistant of CAS, you can apply for the “Special Research Assistant Project of CAS”, postdoctoral fund and other projects during the employment period.
(3). You shall work in the research station for 2-3 years in principle.
(4). Dependent on your work performance, your salary treatments will rise.
