日前，美国电气和电子工程师协会(IEEE)在官方网站公布了本年度会士（Fellow）增选消息。17位中国科学家当选新科IEEE会士（IEEE Fellow）。其中，大陆共4人当选，分别为西安交通大学王锡凡教授，清华大学余志平教授，北京大学高文教授，中科院自动化所李子青研究员；香港地区共7人当选，分别为：香港城市大学冯刚，张启图与文剑锋，香港科技大学杨强，香港中文大学汤晓鸥与刘云辉，香港理工大学张大鹏；台湾地区共6人当选，他们是：国立台湾大学钟嘉德，台湾义守大学傅胜利，台湾国立成功大学李清庭，台湾国立清华大学许健平，国立台湾大学孙启光，国立台湾科技大学吴陈金莲。

 

IEEE是目前世界上最著名、规模最大的跨国学术组织，有160个国家和地区约40万会员和39个专业分学会，该学会领导着信号和信息处理、电力、 电子、计算机、通信、控制、遥感、生物医学、智能交通和太空等技术领域的最新发展方向。各专业分学会的出版物是国际上权威性的学术刊物，是各国电子电气领域科学家和学者发表最新研究成果的首选。而IEEE Fellow是IEEE授予其会员的最高荣誉。
