Your Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree Computer Science or equivalent
* 3+ years of solid software development experience
* Solid experience in C and C++ and programming best practices
* Proficiency in developing Windows applications
* Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Able to learn quickly and easily adapt to a wide variety of programming challenges
* Self-motivated and able to work and solve problems independently
* Familiarity with Unix and shell scripting
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PHP, HTML5, XML, XMP is desired
* Familiarity with InstallShield
* Experience with cross-platform development is highly desired

Qualifications:
• University/College degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline;
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in a computer programming environment demonstrating strong analytical and programming skills,

Skills and competencies:
• Experience in multi-threaded C/C++ development on Windows;
• Understanding of computer systems;
• Experience with TCP/IP, network sockets and networking protocols;
• Experience with IP Routing;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and symbols debugging;
• Experience in drivers development, an asset;
• Experience in low level development, an asset;
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills;
• Good communication skills (oral and written) in English;
• Ability to manage your time and projects effectively.

Other beneficial qualifications:
• Various other development and scripting languages (VB .NET, C#, VBScript, etc.);
• Experience programming in virtualized environments (VMWare, RDS, XenApp);
• Experience with SQL and relational databases;
• Embedded development
