论文题目:Core–Shell ZIF-8@ZIF-67-Derived CoP Nanoparticle-Embedded N-Doped Carbon Nanotube Hollow Polyhedron for Efficient Overall Water Splitting

论文摘要:The construction of highly active and stable non-noble-metal electrocatalysts for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions is a major challenge for overall water splitting. Herein, we report a novel hybrid nanostructure with CoP nanoparticles (NPs) embedded in a N-doped carbon nanotube hollow polyhedron (NCNHP) through a pyrolysis–oxidation–phosphidation strategy derived from core–shell ZIF-8@ZIF-67. Benefiting from the synergistic effects between highly active CoP NPs and NCNHP, the CoP/NCNHP hybrid exhibited outstanding bifunctional electrocatalytic performances. When the CoP/NCNHP was employed as both the anode and cathode for overall water splitting, a potential as low as 1.64 V was needed to achieve the current density of 10 mA·cm–2, and it still exhibited superior activity after continuously working for 36 h with nearly negligible decay in potential. Density functional theory calculations indicated that the electron transfer from NCNHP to CoP could increase the electronic states of the Co d-orbital around the Fermi level, which could increase the binding strength with H and therefore improve the electrocatalytic performance. The strong stability is attributed to high oxidation resistance of the CoP surface protected by the NCNHP.

论文题目:Pb-Activated Amine-Assisted Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution Reaction on Organic–Inorganic Perovskites

论文摘要:We report here the reaction mechanism for explicit aqueous solvent quantum mechanics (QM) studies determining the energetics and reaction barriers for the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) on CH3NH3PbI3 surface. We find that both the lead (Pb) atoms and the surface organic molecules play essential roles, leading to a two-step Pb-activated amine-assisted (PbAAA) reaction mechanism involving an intermediate lead hydride state. Both H of H2 product are extracted from surface organic molecules, while two protons from the solution migrate along water chains via the Grotthuss mechanism to replace the H in organic molecule. We obtain a reaction barrier of 1.08 eV for photochemical generation of H2 on CH3NH3PbI3 compared to 2.61 eV for the dark reaction. We expect this HER mechanism can also apply to the other organic perovskites, but the energy barriers and reaction rates may depend on the basicity of electrolyte and intrinsic structures of perovskites.

论文摘要:Honeycomb structure endows graphene with extraordinary properties. But could a honeycomb monolayer superlattice also be generated via self-assembly of colloids or nanoparticles? Here we report the construction of mono- and multilayer molecular films with honeycomb structure that can be regarded as self-assembled artificial graphene (SAAG). We construct fan-shaped molecular building blocks by covalently connecting two kinds of clusters, one polyoxometalate and four polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes. The precise shape control enables these complex molecules to self-assemble into a monolayer 2D honeycomb superlattice that mirrors that of graphene but on the mesoscale. The self-assembly of the SAAG was also reproduced via coarse-grained molecular simulations of a fan-shaped building block. It revealed a hierarchical process and the key role of intermediate states in determining the honeycomb structure. Experimental images also show a diversity of bi- and trilayer stacking modes. The successful creation of SAAG and its stacks opens up prospects for the preparation of novel self-assembled nanomaterials with unique properties.

论文摘要:The Front Cover shows the synthesis of the new π-extended triazacoronene derivatives containing three peri-benzopyrano extensions from triphenylene triamine and a salicylaldehyde derivative in a one-pot reaction. The structures of these π-extended triazacoronene derivatives were unambiguously confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. One typical compound shows a sandwich-type π-trimer in the crystalline state, and there are strong intermolecular π–π stacking interactions between the two different layers of the π-trimer.

论文摘要:Well‐alanced ambipolar conjugated polymers with mild glass‐ ransition temperatures are developed by Weifeng Zhang, Gui Yu, and co‐workers in article number 1705286. High‐performance flexible field‐effect transistors (PFETs) based on these polymers exhibit high and well‐alanced hole/electron mobilities of 5.97/7.07 cm2 V−1 s−1 under ambient conditions. Meanwhile, flexible complementarylike inverters also afford a very high gain of 148.

The controllable adhesive force can be easily tuned with a different number of eggbeater arms. The 3D‐printed eggbeater structures have numerous applications including as microhands for droplet manipulation and microreactors, and for 3D cell culture, oil‐spill clean‐up, and oil/water separation.

论文摘要:A series of isostructural lanthanide one-dimensional (1D) chain complexes, [Ln(INNO)(Bza)2(H2O)2]·(H2O) {INNO = isonicotinate N-oxide, Bza = benzoic acid; Nd(1), Eu(2), Gd(3), Tb(4), Dy(5), Er(6) and Y(7)}, have been successfully isolated by hydrothermal reactions utilizing two distinct carboxylates as co-ligands. Due to the similar steric hindrance of the two carboxylic ligands, the neighboring lanthanide ions are bridged simultaneously by their carboxyl groups from the opposite sides to form a 1D chain structure. The shape analysis of the eight-coordinated Dy analogue 5 highlights the coordination geometry of the distorted square antiprism (D4d). The solid-state luminescence of 2 and 4 was characterized. The static magnetic analysis of the Gd analogue 3 is indicative of the dominant weak intrachain antiferromagnetic interactions via the carboxylic ligands. Dynamic magnetic measurements for 5 revealed clear slow magnetic relaxation behaviour typical for single-molecule magnets (SMMs). Compound 5 represents a very rare example, reported as a mixed carboxylate bridged lanthanide SMM.

论文题目:High-performance photodetectors based on Sb2S3 nanowires: wavelength dependence and wide temperature range utilization

论文摘要:Photodetectors which can work at both low and high temperatures are very important for the development of practical optoelectronic devices. Many studies have shown that low-dimensional semiconductors have more advantages in optoelectronic applications than their bulk forms. Here, we report the preparation of high-quality Sb2S3 nanowires (NWs) by a sulphur-assisted vapour transport method. The corresponding individual Sb2S3 NW based photodetectors exhibit good photoresponse in a wide spectral range from about 300 to 800 nm. The optimal photoresponse values are measured under the illumination of a 638 nm laser at room temperature: a high current ON/OFF ratio of about 210, a spectral responsivity of 1152 A W−1, a detectivity of 2 × 1013 Jones, and rise and fall times of about 37 ms, respectively. More importantly, the temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity of Sb2S3 shows three variation regions which can be attributed to the interaction between the carrier mobility and carrier concentration. The temperature dependence of the photoresponse of the photodetectors shows that they have good adaptability to temperature, and they worked very well at a wide temperature range from 8 to 420 K. Our results indicate that low-dimensional Sb2S3 crystals are promising candidates for new multifunctional optoelectronic devices.
