- The pBJ12_p2 replication region was flanked by plasmid functional modules (pemK/pemI and snrB), which contributes to plasmid maintenance in the bacterial population. This region in identical to that in other IncFII plasmids ***. The transfer region of pBJ12_p2 comprises of 26 tra genes and 6 trb genes. The gene order of this region is totally conserved in **and ** (Figure 2). The pHNFP460-1 was isolated from E. coli from pig feces in China in 2013. and ~75-kbp to plasmid pHNFP460-1 (GenBank no. KJ020575). The pHN3A11-like plasmids have been reported as a successful disseminated plasmid in E. coli isolates from pets, food animals and farm environments in China.17 They both contain genes encoding addiction (pemI/pemK, hok/mok/sok) and partitioning (parM, parB, and stbB) systems that promote plasmid maintenance during vertical transmission.
