赵莲菊教授的线上讲座的随记

上周有幸听到赵莲菊教授的线上讲座,感触良多。赵教授自称是60%统计学家、30%数学家与10%生态学家。但赵老师在生态学顶级刊物的发文量,足以让99%生态学家自叹不如。她以第一作者在Methods in Ecology and Evolution(7篇),Ecology(6篇),Ecological Monographs(3篇,含1篇通讯作者),Ecology Letters(2篇),Annual Reviews of Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics (1篇)发表的论文,总引用次数达到数万次。这些都是生态学者公认难度极大的刊物,然而赵老师居然可以这么轻易“灌水”,虽说与赵老师的数学家的背景有关,更与赵老师对于科学的热爱和孜孜不倦的追求有关系,这种精神值得我们大陆这边的生态学者敬仰和学习。近年来,我们内地这边生态学的研究迅速发展,不仅从事生态学的研究者增加很多,高水平的研究论文也层出不穷,相比之下,内地在生态统计领域的研究和方法开发方面并没有得到足够重视,成果也不尽人意。赵老师的讲座真是及时雨,让内地的年轻的生态学者和研究生觉得耳目一新,也激励大家在生态统计和新方法开发方面做出自己的贡献。
