Jang教授的最新研究成果。Jang教授等利用置换（galvanic replacement）和简单传统的等体积浸渍（incipientwetness impregnation）技术合成了一种氧化铝负载的Cu-Pd单原子合金（single atom alloy）催化剂。孤立的合金Pd原子结构独特，能够离解氢分子并将解离后的氢原子传递到邻近的Cu原子上，同时，Pd原子还能活化邻近的Cu原子，从而实现在Cu原子上进行选择性加氢，因此合成的Cu-Pd催化剂对乙炔选择性加氢表现出优良的选择性以及活性。
