Scopus[1]是目前全世界最大的摘要和引文数据库,涵盖了15000余种期刊。作为Web of Science(含SCI和SSCI等)的垄断地位最有力挑战者,Scopus得到了《Nature》以及国际上一批科学计量学和信息计量学家的支持。Bar-Ilan[2]甚至认为Scopus等新数据库的出现,是二十一世纪以来对信息计量学最有影响的进展之一。Scopus也逐渐被广泛用于科学计量学的研究[3-7]及科学评价[8]。
