Position: Two postdoctoral fellows (starting in November 2024, negotiable)

Salary: RMB 280,000 yuan/year; RMB 560,000 RMB for 2 years in total

Location: Chengdu, China

Two Postdoctoral positions with two-year period are available in the laboratory of Prof. Qingle Zeng at Chengdu University of Technology to develop novel organic synthetic methods in organic chemistry, especially in organosulfur chemistry.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Should less than 35 years old.

• Must have a PhD degree in organic chemistry within the last 3 years.

• Will have extensive experience in synthetic organic chemistry.

• Have published 2 SCI papers in Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) Q1 journals, for example, Nature Chem., JACS, Angew. Chem., Chem. Sci., Org. Lett., Green Chem., and so on.

Responsibilities:

• To prepare, purify and characterize organic compounds.

• To solve problems by effective literature review.

• To prepare monthly reports to support publications.

• To present progress in team meetings.

• To publish 2 papers in CAS Q1 journals.

A competitive salary of RMB 280,000 yuan/year will be offered to the successful candidate. This is a RMB 560,000 yuan for two-year period postdoctoral position.
