 Central extensions play an important role in quantum mechanics. One of the most famous examples is Wigner's theorem that states a symmetry in quantum mechanical system determines a (anti-) unitary transformation of the Hilbert space, which is unique up to a phase factor.

   In this lecture, I will concentrate on the mathematical definition of the concept Central Extension especially of Lie groups and Lie algebras.
     I am sorry that my prepareation may not deserve two hours.
