A postdoc position is available in a newly established Lab at Stanford University School of Medicine to study eukaryotic membrane protein structure and function.
Research in the lab focuses on mechanistic understanding of ion channels, transporters and membrane-embedded enzymes and their applications. The work will involve protein production, biophysical characterization, functional assay and structure determination by X-ray crystallography.
We are seeking highly motivated applicants with substantial experience in molecular biology, protein expression and biochemistry. Prior experience in X-ray crystallography is a plus point but not required. The candidate is expected to play an active and collaborative role in the lab and the department.
