新报告：转基因作物杀伤力再获证明——转帖直言了来信(2012-06-29 23:17:15)
23日开始至今，一条消息遍布美国影视媒体和网络媒体：在美国一牛场，使用含有转基因成分饲料后一定时间，该作物的转基因成分的武器功能突然爆发，群杀了牛农的牛群。这不是唯一的事件。美国联邦机构开始调查。
这事件再次证明，转基因技术武器的杀伤功能可以长期隐蔽，到一定时候突然显现杀伤功能而达到规模群体杀伤的目标，使人防不胜防。
中国农业官员重复宣传的所谓转基因“更安全”和“没有事故报告”，等等，纯属是营私舞弊搞撒谎。
又：看到智囊团研究报告说，一次性投放包括转基因技术在内的生化武器，可达到“一弹”杀死300万人的规模杀伤力。

消息发布后的第三天，6月25日，发布者就做了更正：牛群死亡与转基因无关。有关媒体这次还是敬业的。
事实上，该牧场的牧草是杂交牧草Tifton85，不是转基因牧草。而且美国农业部官员对媒体（CBS）指出：美国现在没有转基因牧草供公众种植或消费。
又过了四天，顾秀林才发出这篇添油加醋，煽风点火的谣言博文。

However, it was incorrectly reported that the grass the cows ingested - a form of Bermuda grass known as Tifton 85 - was a genetically modified organism.
In fact, Tifton 85 is a hybrid, not a GM organism.
An official at the Department of Agriculture told CBS News that there are currently no genetically modified grasses on the market or bring grown for public use or consumption.
