The 3^nd Pollinating Insects Forum

(First Announcement)

Supported by the Standing Committee of the Entomological Society of China, the Third Pollinator Insects Forum will be held in Beijing, 25-27 May 2018. This forum is hosted by the Special Committee on Pollinator Insects, the Beijing Entomological Society of China, supported by the Youth Committee of the Entomological Society of China, the Beijing Entomological Society and the Beijing Ecological Society. It is organized by Key Laboratory of Zoological Systematics and Evolution, Chinese Academy of Sciences and State Key Laboratory of Integrated Management of Pest Insects and Rodents.

Forum will focus on pollinator insect diversity, species interactions with other living organisms, pollination service to organize talks. Participants will be invited to join the committee members to  discuss relevant topics for the Special Committee on Pollinator Insects, working group and capacity-building. Detail informations are listed below:

The major topics

l  Business Meeting by all members of Special Committee Pollinator Insects, the Entomological Society of China to discuss on organization and capacity-building issues of the committee.

l  Third Pollinator Insects Workshop: Academic talks, discussions and conceiving potential joint proposals on pollinator insects.

Registration: 25^th May 2018

Plenary and symposia: 26-27^th May 2018

Departure: 28^th May 2018

Venue

Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing.

Working Language

The official language for the forum is English. English presentations with Chinese PPT or vice versa are acceptable.

Registration

Registration fee: The registration fee is 1000 RMB for regular attendees and 600 RMB for students.

Workshop will arrange the conference dinner. Attendees should arrange the hotel and transportation by themselves.
