They cited a report by TrustLaw (a provider of legal assistance and information) which provided some information of women's status in G-20 countries, based on factors such as domestic violence laws, access to education, workplace opportunities and rights. The G-20 is composed of 19 countries and the European Union. The G-20 economies account for more than 80 percent of the gross world product, 80 percent of world trade, and two-thirds of the world population.
