 A Ph.D. position in Environmental Engineering with Dr. Fudong Liu’s group is open now at The Catalysis Cluster of Energy Conversion and Propulsion, and The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering at the University of Central Florida. The group's research direction is Environmental Catalysis for Pollution Control and Catalysis for Energy Conversion. Prospective highly motivated students with a M.S. degree or bachelor’s degree with background of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Sciences and Engineering are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have strong interests in environmental catalysis, nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, in-depth catalysis reaction mechanism study, and related research topics.
This Ph.D. position will start in Aug. 2019 (Fall 2019 Program), and the application deadline for international applicants is Jan. 15, 2019 and for domestic applicants is Jul. 1, 2019. Applicants who plan to enroll full time in a degree program and who wish to be considered for university fellowships or assistantships should apply by the Fall Priority date (Jan. 15, 2019).
