羊年是俺的本命年,据说本命年多舜,低调做人是主调,也将少来科学网矫情。
无奈新年伊始,又收到几个关于干细胞研究的会议煽情邀请发言的通知。印象中自己从来没有在干细胞会议上做过专题报告,怎么几年来老是被相关的会议“抛媚眼”。
实在要说与干细胞大会有过“交情”,也许也就有一回在xxxx大会上,韩忠朝教授在报告完“干细胞老化是衰老本质”之后,自己直统统地提出了“大逆不道”的comment——“熵增生化才是衰老本质”的争辩——这是该被列入干细胞研究“黑名单”的历史事件,居然就把俺与干细胞研究会议给捆绑在一起了?
也罢,不管自己因为什么原因上了干细胞研究的什么“花样名册”,在此还是转发一下会议消息,谨此预祝有关大侠:

The objectives of the 8th Congress are to bring together an interdisciplinary group of individuals to exchange their expertise and experiences in regenerative medicine & stem cell with cooperation and further stimulate their research and development activities. This can be achieved by well-organized presentations by the oral presenters as well as by providing ample time for discussion after the oral presentations to stimulate further interest and understanding of the subject.
Shanghai, the Congress city, sits at the mouth of the Yangtze River, the longest river in China. It is the largest Chinese city and "a city of skyscrapers". With a history of more than 700 years, Shanghai was once the financial center of the Far East. Today, Shanghai is the largest economic and transportation center in China. The municipal government is working towards building Shanghai into a modern metropolis and into a world economic, financial, trading and shipping center.
