It is an interesting experience to be invited as a reviewer for papers in English. Although this is not the first time for me to finish such a task, there is something worthy of recording. AMCIS is an annual conference in MIS with great scale and require that all the papers be reviewed double-blined. I was occasionally arranged to review four papers. With a whole day's work, four papers were read carefully  and one of them was rejected because of its poor methodology and oddless structure. I did my best to fill the review form and gave my comments and suggestions. I had to pay great attention to English expression carefully as a non-English reviewer. At the night of that day, I felt relax and happy after completing the tasks.

About one and half an months later,  I got the double-blined comments for my paper for AMCIS. It wasaccepted but need revision. I was very interested in the suggestions of the reviewer. One of them paid much attention to methodology, and another provided me with 3 important references which I failed to retrieve. After reading the comments, the first thing I did was to search the papers in the database of library. It was really an arduous work  but I found them finally after changing search strategies for quite a few times from 5 related database. At that moment, I felt that I were a successful treasure hunter!  The 3 papers were closely related but didnlt contribute much to me because the methods adopted by  them were not so complex as that of mine, but it was really not appropriate and impolite that I didn't refer to them in my paper.

Then I began to revise the paper. I was supprised to find that there were still a few grammer mistakes and poor expressions after repeat checks. I have to admit that it is not my mother language after all. Not to mention that I often make mistakes in my Chinese papers on blog. I must apologize to my finite readers for that sometimes I am too bothered to correct those mistakes when I find them after a few days. It is obvious not a good habit. I should make an effort to perfect the papers on blog just like my academic papers, but perhaps only the God knows if I could  really realize this ideal.
