Best food for the future?

A friend of mine asked me to try spirulina, when she heard that I had bad heartburn. She gave me two bottles of "sea-power seawater
spirulina" made by the SCSIO. I of course didn't believe any magic power of any pills, after having gone through 4 weeks of time-releasing acid reducer. Instead of taking 6-12 pills each time and 2-3 times daily, I would swallow 3 dark-green pills when I see the bottle. Suddenly, I became serous: I haven't had a heartburn for a week now! I cannot say that I did anything differently, except for taking these pills, not even daily. So, I will keep on popping in 3 pills once a day when I remember to do so, and maybe cut down to 2 pills daily, and eventually none. (After all, I don't like pills.)

I don't know if I would like to take these pills as my "main course," as recommended by the UN (see below). If this experiment does not kill me, it will make me stronger

From wikipedia:

"The United Nations World Food Conference in 1974 lauded spirulina as the 'best food for the future'. Recognizing the inherent potential of spirulina in the sustainable development agenda, several Member States of the United Nations came together to form an intergovernmental organization named the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition (IIMSAM).[32] IIMSAM aspires to build a consensus with the UN Member States, international community and other stakeholders to make spirulina a key driver to eradicate malnutrition, achieve food security and bridge the health divide throughout the world."
