Agenda Welcome and Introduction The panel moderator will provide an overview of the programme, noting that the presentations will explore recent data and how these translate to real-world patient care. The moderator will also explain the web broadcast functionality and inform the audience of their ability to submit questions for the “Ask the Faculty” portion of the agenda. What’s New in Chemotherapy for Advanced Pancreatic Cancer: A Review of Recently Presented Survival Data In the first presentation, the expert faculty will briefly review recently presented survival data for therapies approved and in development for advanced pancreatic cancer. As the faculty move through these data, the panel of experts will discuss the impact these data may have on patient care, including the psychological impact of improved survival outcomes. Individualising Care in Advanced Pancreatic Cancer: A Review of Response Rate and How to Individualise Care in Your Patient In the second presentation, the expert faculty will review recently presented response data and discuss how to measure response to therapies approved and in development for advanced pancreatic cancer, focusing on patients who may benefit from early disease control. Using these recent findings, the expert faculty will then also illustrate how to select therapy based on patient and drug characteristics. A Longitudinal Case Study in Advanced Pancreatic Cancer: A Review of Experts’ Decision Tree and Guideline Recommendations In the third presentation, the expert faculty panel will take a more in-depth look at a patient, moving from diagnosis through multiple lines of treatment, and provide their insights on key decision points. The virtual audience will have the opportunity to vote at certain points in the decision tree. This case-based discussion among the faculty experts will illustrate effective ways to integrate and adapt the learnings previously discussed, as well as treatment guidelines, into clinical practice Conclusions and Q&A Session The faculty will answer questions submitted by the virtual audience. The meeting will conclude with key take-away messages from the faculty moderator. | |||||||||||||||||
