偶然看见南安普顿大学哲学教授Ray Monk列了20世纪10大哲学著作（也许称得上magnum opus），但作者也惭愧这个书单儿“失衡”（unashamedly unbalanced），因为其中4部是维特根斯坦的，2部是罗素的。Monk曾写过那两位的传记——大概偏爱作者，所以多选他们的书；也许因为先偏爱那些书，后来才为作者立传——所以他辩护说，I make no apologies for this. In my view, Wittgenstein towers above all other 20th century philosophers to such an extent that it is surprising to find any books not written by him included in such a list.
