A plan for writing:

Laser  ranging contributions to COMPASS-M1(Beidou-M1).

The  first pass's laser ranging data ,it is said, came to

Shanghai Astronomical Observatory ,Chinese Academy of Sciences,

on December 2008.

COMPASS-M1 is the first  MEO satellite of Chinese Navigation satellite

which support laser ranging technology.

More than twenty Observatories has been traking this satellite

for 4 years.

The LRA onboard is ** sets of corner cubes with diameter of ** mm.

The total effective area is *** cm*cm.

The weight is ** kg.
