For the past four days, the US was bombarded by terrorist with 13 home made and mailed pipe bombs to various former presidents and public figures who are critics of current President Trump. However, the FBI and police were able to solve and arrest the terrorist in such a short time among the entire resident population of the US of 325 million people. This is a shining example of technology, forensic science, and knowledge of criminal database combined.  Apparently, the suspect was not careful enough so that a single finger print was left on one of the 13 envelopes mailed by him. Also DNA evidence were recovered from the mailed bombs (probably skin cells or saliva cells) package. Search of the extensive nationwide DNA and fingerprint database were able to identify the individual. The case was further strengthened when the suspect’s social media accounts contained the same misspelling of words as his mailing envelope address labels. Such detective works were unthinkable 20 years ago. Would be criminals take notice. It is almost impossible to hide in this world.
