研究知识的第三个维度

Research Policy杂志2004年第8期发表了Michael Hales写的书评，评论的是Ash Amin和Patrick Cohendet合著的Architecture of Knowledge: Firms, Capabilities and Communities（知识的构架：企业、能力与社区，牛津大学出版社，2004）。

本书提出了这样的观点。将知识作为对象加以研究，只有认识论维度（将知识分为默会知识与明晰知识）和本体论维度（将个人还是集体作为知识生产的基础）是不够的，还可以加上第三个维度――好好探究一下：把知识作为被占有的事物呢？还是作为被实践的事物？

 

法国著名科学社会学家米歇尔.卡龙是这样评论本书的：

在我看来，本书是名副其实的力作。它令人信服地将不同学科（经济学、科学技术元勘、认知科学――包括驻在式认知和分布式认知、管理学）的最新研究成果组合在一起。这是首次有人系统性地尝试找到这不同学科间的共同线索……本书开发了一个框架，每一种理论进路在此框架中都能找到自己的位置。该书不是大杂烩，不是折衷主义的结果，而是实实在在的集成。
