父亲像什么（摘抄）

今天是父亲节，摘抄几段与父亲有关的文字。
清代诗人袁枚60岁自寿诗曰：“已无朝士称前辈，尚有慈亲唤乳名”。李鸿章在升任文华殿大学士后,自撰楹联，写的就是这一句。我们也都希望，“尚有慈亲唤乳名”的日子能长久地持续下去。在节日里，写下这一愿望。
1985年第6期《读者文摘》（《读者》的前身）发表了美国人艾尔玛. 波贝克的“记慈父”，文章说：
我小时候，一个做父亲的就像电冰箱里的灯，家家都有一个，可是谁都不知道冰箱门关上以后那盏灯在做什么。
