最近因为公务繁忙,上科学网的时间少了,虽然也不时发些文章,但很少浏览他人的博客。今天认真观察了一下科学网,发现网上有许多陌生的博主,其中“青水洋”的名字最引人注目,一看到这个名字,我的第一反应是:中国百家姓中有“青”这个姓吗?我好生纳闷:这里不是实行实名制吗,怎会出现这样的博主姓名呢?或许是自己太过孤陋寡闻——中国百家姓中原有“青”这个姓?于是进入“青水洋教授的博客”——“让博客陪伴我走完人生的旅途”首先印入我的眼帘,着实令我感觉非常!再看其博文——《让博客陪伴我走完人生的旅途》,《写给Randy Pausch教授的一封信》等等,终于明白了是怎么一回事!读着这些文字,我深为感动,尤其令我肃然起敬的是,青
青水洋教授的博客,使我想起了自己上学时所读过的Helen Keller(1880—1968)所写的一篇文章“Three Days to See”——
All of us have read thrilling stories in which the hero had only a limited and specified time to live .Sometimes it was as long as a year; Sometimes as short as twenty-four hours .But always we were interested in discovering just how the doomed man chose to spend his last hours ……Such stories set us thinking, wondering what we should do under similar circumstances……Sometimes I have thought it would be an excellent rule to live each day as if we should die tomorrow. Such an attitude would emphasize sharply the values of life……
In stories, the doomed hero is usually save at the last minute by some stroke of fortune, but almost always his sense of values is changed. He becomes more appreciative of the meaning of life and its permanent spiritual values. It has often been noted that those who live, or have lived, in the shadow of death bring a mellow sweetness to everything they do.
Most of us, however, take life for granted……
