------------To the place where I live--------

In the morning I wake up breathing the fresh clean air

That is so effective in getting rid of any type of despair!

The birds, which I cannot name, are blithely singing,

In this beautiful season that is California spring!

In the afternoon I come to the grassfield

That is such a broad, green, vibrant shield

Against all worry all burden all blue mood!

That I once had despite efforts to feel good

Here I can enjoy the touch of the breeze

In which I can freely crazily breathe!

Above my head is the endless blue sky

Where birds slowly happily fly!

Out there are white clouds floating at their leisure

That I believe for many people must be a treasure!

I cannot imagine how hard it is to return to a place

Where the air quality is such a complete disgrace!

I just hope wherever and whenever I feel low

The memory of this place will inside me flow!
