论文摘要:A solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on lithium metal anodes improves the lifespan of lithium batteries. In their Research Article on page 3252, Q. Zhang and co‐authors propose a sustainable SEI that combines fluorinated co‐solvents with sustained release of additives. A combination of an intrinsically uniform SEI and the constant supplement of SEI building blocks provides a sustainable SEI. When tested in a pouch cell, a specific energy of 340 Wh kg−1 was achieved for 60 cycles.

论文摘要:Inverse size‐sieving …. … is possible with smart flexible materials. In their Communication on page 3423, Q. W. Yang, H. B. Xing and co‐workers report an anion‐pillared ultramicroporous material with finely tuned pore aperture size and structural flexibility, exhibiting an inverse size‐sieving effect for Xe/Kr mixtures. The larger Xe atom (red ball) can open the “door” and enter the pore, while the smaller Kr atom (blue ball) is excluded by the limited pore size.

论文摘要:A macromolecular reporter whose near‐infrared fluorescence is activated by a bladder cancer biomarker is reported by K. Pu and co‐workers in their Research Article on page 4415. The reporter undergoes efficient renal clearance and accumulates in the bladder, enabling both the real‐ ime in vivo imaging of bladder cancer and in vitro urinalysis for tracking tumor progression in living mice.

This newly developed catalyst, which is fabricated by covalently modifying SiO2 nanoparticles with protonated poly(ethylene imime), provides a promising choice for the cheap and efficient catalysis of NaBH4 hydrolysis.
