Ionic liquid/tetraglyme hybrid Mg[TFSI]2 electrolytes for rechargeable Mg batteries

The electrochemical reversibility of magnesium is demonstrated from a dry hybrid electrolyte, comprised of an ionic liquid and ether-functional organic solvent. The coordinating nature of ether-functional solvents and the high stability of ionic liquids make these electrolytes attractive for high energy density rechargeable magnesium batteries.
