Reviewer #1: I recommend major revision of the paper before it is reconsidered for acceptance:

(1) The author should minimize heady, but irrelevant, discussion of swarm intelligence

(2) The paper should be rewritten to make clearer its focus on thermodynamic models for labor macroeconomics.

(3) In the theory section, the author should indicate explicitly what is novel.

Reviewer #2: Before the paper can be published, the following points should be addressed:

(1) ADGEE should be defined precisely so as to make the paper self-contained.

(2) mu is defined as the marginal labor-capital return. Omega is defined as the marginal labor return.  This is not clear.  The author should give a much more thorough definition of mu and omega, and how they differ. The author should give an illustrative example to make the definition clear.  This is very important since the key result of the paper is the affined relation between mu and omega.

(3) The empirical test is performed over a single country, the UK.  But the author does not explain what is the set of data points over which the regression is performed. Does each point in figure 1 correspond to a value (mu, omega) for a given year and the set of points is for a certain set of years (which one?).  The description of the data set is thus incomplete and much more information should be provide.
