PhD position at the University of Halle, Germany

A PhD position is now open in the group of Prof. Miguel Marques at theInstitute of Physics of the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. The topic is related to the first-principles inversion of the electronic-structure problem, i.e., how to obtain the material that possesses a desired electronic structure. The tools used for this problem include density functional theory and global structural prediction methods, namely the minima hopping method.
