Anatomy of open access publishing: a study of longitudinal development and internal structure

       2011年约有34万篇文章发表于6713种即时OA期刊（OAJ）。随着商业性OA出版机构的快速增长，收费类OAJ日益增加（2011年发表了约49％的OA论文）。生物医药类OA论文数量的增长尤为显著，2000年（7400篇）至2011年（120900篇）增长了16倍。最近10年来，每年OA论文率增加约1%，2011年Scopus收录的166万篇学术论文中OA论文约占17%，其中12%为即时OA论文，5%为延时（12个月以内）OA论文。
