今年6月份新浪头条及《青年报》的报导,使得课题组的本科生林苑同学一下成为科学网上本科生中的“名人”。由于报导的材料是在没有得到林苑同学核实的情况下发表的,许多读者对林苑同学褒贬不一,这给林苑同学带来了不大不小的压力。为了能让林苑早日平静下来、安心学习与研究,许多老师与同学出于对林苑的关心,写信给她表达了自己看法,并给林苑支招如何处理这些事情。其中,香港城市大学陈关荣教授的邮件对林苑的帮助与鼓励很大。陈老师首先对林苑的工作给予了的肯定,希望她能正确对待外界的声音,继续认真做好研究,并表示会继续对林苑寄予厚望。这是对林苑最大的鞭策。
在陈老师的鼓励下,林苑同学继续她在大一就开始的随机游走方面的研究课题,这个暑假期间,将自己在大四的研究成果整理成一篇论文,由我投到国际期刊《Journal of Chemical Physics (JCP)》上。投搞后一个月时间,论文便正式录用。两个国际同行评审专家均对这一成果给予了充分肯定。这篇JCP文章是林苑同学本科期间的第三篇一作的SCI论文,文章第二作者居来提•阿拉法特是我的三年级本科生。JCP为中科院SCI分区列表二区中的Top期刊,近五年的平均影响因子为3.238,2011年影响因子为3.333。
希望林苑同学戒骄戒躁,继续努力学习,争取做出更好的研究成果!也希望广大老师和同学继续关心、支持林苑同学!
