CrossRef's 2012 Annual Meeting 年会，有钱就应该去参加

We invite you to attend CrossRef's 2012 Annual Member Meeting on Wednesday, November 14th at The Royal Society in London, UK. The Corporate Annual meeting, open to all CrossRef Members, will be held from 9:15-9:45 am. The public program follows at 10:00 am and is open to all those interested. Registration and continental breakfast will start at 8:30 am. Annual Meeting Program Highlights
The day will also include a Global Publishing Panel sharing their CrossRef experiences. The panel will comprise ofChoon-Shil Lee of KAMJE and Eleonora Dagiene of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Press among others.
The customary CrossRef system, strategic initiatives, and CrossCheck and CrossMark updates will be presented throughout the meeting.
The day will conclude with Virginia Barbour, Chair of COPE (Committee on Publications Ethics)speaking about ethics.

2012 CrossRef Workshops
The CrossRef Workshops will take place on Tuesday, November 13th at The Royal Society. The daylong workshops will be on technical and non-technical topics of interest. This year we will have a breakout session for CrossCheck users. As last year, the morning will start with more introductory topics and the latter part will be geared toward more advanced topics. Delegates may attend select sessions without attending the entire day. Detailed meeting information including the draft agendas and hotel information is now available. 无须签订出版商链接双边协议
通过CrossRef，图书馆无须跟各个出版商签订双边协议，也无须跟踪出版商自身的链接表，就能够在CrossRef成员出版商之间建立链接。该系统还支持DOI的重新定位以建立与图书馆馆藏的本地链接。到目前为止，超过1，000个图书馆签订协议获取了免费的CrossRef帐号，通过DOI查询创建了全文的永久链接。一些图书馆直接访问CrossRef，而其他的图书馆则通过本地的链接服务系统来实现。
