Carol Greider, born in 1961, is a famous molecular biologist in the United States. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1983. He is now a professor in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Johns Hopkins University. [1]

She won the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Elizabeth Blackburn and Jack Szostak for "discovering how telomeres and telomerase protect chromosomes".
