I have lived in Timothy House since late Oct. 2015, which is a christian church shelter to provide assistance to homeless people. All the people there, such as Fran, Waylon, Zack, and Keith, are very loving, caring, and considerable persons who really want to help others to their utmost. But due to some "pressure", I was told just half an hour ago that I have lived here long enough that I need to consider finding a place to move out.

One month ago, Zack talked with me about publicizing my experience in newspaper: Once my situation makes some people very embarrassed, Timothy House would be compelled to take side...In response to my request for a stay, My Sister's Place replied that they could not allow me to move in because I am not in immediate danger of domestic violence.

Given my present situation, my illegal immigration status makes it ineligible for me to work or sign any lease. Athens has no other organization that can provide shelter for people to stay...

I am aware that this is just the start of many difficulties on my way to fighting for justice. With each one of you standing beside me, however, I am not alone!
